GMail DYK
The WebDid you know that GMail ignores periods (.) in email addresses? I just found this out when I received an email to ryaneverhart AT gmail DOT com. The email address I set up for my account was ryan DOT everhart AT gmail DOT com. Why would GMail ignore periods? Isn't this just another way for spammers to get an email to your inbox?
You can even even add periods to your email address so your.username@gmail.com is the same as y.o.u.r.u.s.e.r.n.a.m.e@gmail.com. Strange huh? What do you all think?
