Evolving Technologies, Working On

So part of my job at AT&T is to reasearch new technology and evaluate if we feel it would fit well within the company.  Since this "research" often involves getting new hardware and software to play with we thought we'd start an CNETTV type web site for internal use.  So far we have about 13 videos created.  The site goes live around June 23rd, wish me luck.

Good Day!
Ryan

PS David Ackerman is a very lively senior editor at CNET who reviews laptops.

just curious - have you started testing macs or linux configs, or is T still primarily windows? I figured at least the dev shops may have switched by now or more of a blend due to the ease of programming and stability. nice videos :)

Chris,
Sorry for the delay on replying to your question. There are a few groups that have Macs within the enterprise. A lot those groups came over with the BellSouth and Cingular mergers. One of my coworkers on the team is in charge of Macs in within the company. As you can imagine it's an uphill battle each and every day. Everything we have in place is centered around the Windows platform.

There are some Linux boxes in the server space but not in the desktop area. There have also been quite a few exceptions for MySQL as well.
